OzDox - The Immersive Documentary

Mish and Michela are on a roadshow sharing information about how our Rack&Pin platform can be used by different show owners and producers in different contexts with different content, using our ACO VIRTUAL immersive, interactive show as a case study.

We've presented for people doing strange things with electricity at Dorkbot Sydney, for arts sector professionals on a SAMAG panel, for people with a special interest in computer graphics and interactive techniques at SIGGRAPH Sydney and in May we'll be presenting to museums professionals at the 2014 Museums Australia National Conference.

On Tuesday 8 April we'll be sharing insights into immersion possibilities for documentary makers at OzDox. OzDox - The Australian Documentary Forum is a joint initiative from documentary filmmakers, industry bodies and academics to foster, promote and provide a monthly forum for documentary culture, supported by The Australian Directors Guild in association with AFTRS, Screen Australia, and Screen NSW.

We will take the audience step by step through the history, production and tools used, along with the challenges faced in getting this pioneering project to completion.

When: Tuesday April 8. AFTRS. 6pm for 6.30
Where: Entertainment Quarter, 130 Bent Street, Moore Park (parking discounted after 6pm)
Entry: Donation $7

You can RSVP on Facebook or just show up, but be early to ensure your seat. Please invite your friends too! This event is open to the public.
