UTS Future of Storytelling Symposium

Mod was commissioned to design and direct a participatory lab experience in the new UTS Data Arena - a 360-degree display system and research facility for interactive data visualisation.

As director, Michela collaborated with the Innovation and Creative Intelligence department and the Institute for Sustainable Futures and the result was an intensive two-day symposium, Future of Storytelling.

On Day 1, lab participants used creative and experimental techniques to envision the future of their chosen field. On Day 2, each group continued to develop their content and iteratively produced an immersive environment in the Data Arena over several sessions - with live coding support from Michela using Touch Designer.
