Mod was founded by Michela and Mish to create beautiful and engaging work. Our founders have decades of experience in media, technology and project management. We bring together leading practitioners to deliver each unique project.

Michela Ledwidge

Michela Ledwidge is a director who specialises in realtime and virtual production. She is both creative and technical lead on most of her productions. She is acknowledged as a pioneer for her award-winning ‘remixable’ approach to film architecture. She has led high profile, cutting edge projects on three continents since creating the first website in NSW in 1993. In 2004 she founded Mod Films in the UK, funded with a NESTA Invention Award. She has served as Vice President-Digital of the Australian Directors Guild, and was a co-founder of the Sydney Unity Users Group and Women in AR & VR Sydney.

Mish Sparks

Michelle (Mish) Sparks is a Koori woman who was born and raised in Sydney. Her father’s family is originally from Bundjalung country, bordering the Clarence River in northern NSW. Her mother’s family is from the mediteranean island of Malta. Mish has built extensive experience leading teams and managing projects and budgets, working across private, government and community sectors. She has co-produced corporate video, documentary, immersive and online entertainment and live events. She holds a Grad Dip in Screen Business and a Cert IV in Training and Assessment.
