Dimensions in Testimony (DiT) aims to allow future generations to "interview" Holocaust survivors. Over the course of three months at the Jewish Museum in Sydney, six Australian Holocaust survivors were interviewed using a performance capture system developed by the Shoah Foundation.
Mod was engaged by Paul Nichola to provide on-set performance capture services and design, build and manage a camera data backup solution for the duration of the recording process.
The challenge was to capture and preserve testimonies from a twenty-three camera array and greenscreen setup designed to display as traditional video and volumetric video for an interactive exhibition where visitors can engage in dialogue with survivors.
Mod is very honoured to have contributed to this important cultural project.
