The University of Sydney Business School is home to hands-on innovation that engages with the challenges and opportunities of our digital future, such as Motus Lab's work on 'digital humans' (avatars, agents and actors).
DISRUPT.SYDNEY™, hosted by the school's Digital Disruption Research Group (DDRG) and Sydney Business Insights (SBI), is an opportunity to share ideas that balance technical and data-driven solutions with social needs, empathy and expertise. Michela was invited to speak as a virtual production industry practitioner.
Her talk, Virtual World Building, located recent developments in spatial computing, including Mod's Graph Storytelling, within social, historical and ethical contexts.
Fascinating interaction with data -using your phone to have virtual experiences pulling in data sets to see relationships. Currently trialling fraud minimisation in Asia but could lead to not having to use PowerPoint! Michela Ledwidge at Mod doing fascinating work #disruptsydpic.twitter.com/7WrNHqKZKO
