Birds of a Feather - Virtual Production

Birds of a Feather is a community of practice gathering and this one is for attendees interested in virtual production. A series of curated short presentations will be followed by a facilitated open discussion with all those in attendance. This will be an opportunity for practitioners and stakeholders to share craft and strengthen networks.

Art Gallery - Through The Eyes Of Our Ancestors

A holographic experience featuring First Nations Traditional Owner, Nicholas Thompson-Wymarra, sharing stories from Gudang Yadhaykenu Country in Australia’s remote far north, the northernmost tip of the Cape York Peninsula. Presented by AFTRS in collaboration with Mod, in collaboration with Gudang Yadhayhenu Tribal Governance Council, and supported by the NETFLIX INDIGENOUS SCHOLARSHIP FUND.

This will be the last chance in a while to experience the large holographic version of the work. Thanks to Looking Glass Factory for their support in providing us with a 32'' holographic display for the event.
